Only the right accessories turn your night vision device into a specialist for your application. Infrared illuminators, for example, expand the range of applications of your night vision optics enormously and leave nothing undiscovered even in absolute darkness. Diycon has a coordinated range of useful accessories. Ideally upgrade your equipment.
IR brightener Predator I (up to 400 m)
The Predator IR illuminator with a wavelength of 850 nm, specially developed for generation 1 night vision devices, is ideal in combination with image intensifiers.
Range up to 400 m (with Gen 3 image intensifier)
The beam angle of the light cone, which is invisible to the human eye, can be changed or focused from 9°-37° and provides an absolutely homogeneous light distribution. No edge blur or spots spoil the picture.
The radiant intensity of the 1W emitter can be dimmed in 4 steps. This means you can always set the ideal brightness for any distance.
battery test function
The Predator I is currently the only model on the market to have a battery test function built into its dimmer switch. This means you are always informed about the remaining charge in your battery.
Ultra short design and low weight
Compared to many other models, the Predator I is extremely short with an overall length of 119 mm. It weighs only 136 grams incl. Battery (CR123).
Rugged Milspec construction and eye safety
The working temperature is between -20°C and +70°C and is therefore superior to any laser. These often fail, especially at low temperatures.
The construction of the Predator I is IP68 and submersible to 5m.
IR brightener Predator II (up to 800 m)
The Predator II IR emitter with a wavelength of 850 nm, specially developed for night vision devices with a digital CMOS sensor, is ideal in combination with the DNVC-2, for example.
Range up to 800 m (with Gen 3 image intensifier), or up to 500 m (with digital night vision devices)
The light cone, which is invisible to the human eye, can be focused and delivers uncompromising performance with optimal light distribution. No edge blur or spots spoil the picture.
The radiant intensity of the 5W emitter is steplessly dimmable. This means you can always set the ideal brightness for any distance. The noiseless button has an operating display.
Short design and low weight
The Predator II uses precision glass optics for focusing and can be operated with either 2 CR123 batteries or 1x 18650 battery. The short design and the low weight make it very easy to handle compared to other models.
Rugged Milspec construction and IP67 protection
The Predator II's construction is IP67 waterproof and shockproof.
