DNVC-2 FIREFLY
The DNVC-2 FIREFLY, which we have completely newly developed, can be used as a stand-alone observation device or as an attachment for your daylight optics.
The Firefly takes into account technical -digital- progress and uses high-end CMOS technology instead of a conventional image intensifier. The device can be used day and night and is equipped with SMART components such as WIFI and HDMI.
The extremely short design enables optimal use as a dual-use eyepiece attachment for many daylight optics such as spotting scopes, binoculars, etc. without significantly increasing the eye relief. Thus, the DNVC-2 is much more versatile and, above all, 100% repeatable compared to attachments, for example. There is no parallax.
Due to the special construction, it can be used, for example, with binoculars with up to 8x magnification. The device itself also has a 6x zoom.
With its 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, the huge OLED screen in the eyepiece delivers a crystal-clear image in HD quality and is currently unique in this class. You can set the brightness optimally for your eyes.
The DNVC-2 has an internal memory for pictures or videos so that you can record your nightly observations.
An important feature is the exchangeable battery with a running time of up to 4-5 hours or 10 hours in standby mode. Optionally, the device can also be operated with 2 x CR123 batteries. So you are completely self-sufficient on the road.
All controls are ergonomically arranged and easy to operate even with gloves. The menu navigation is self-explanatory and intuitive. For those who don’t like technology, all the essential functions are covered by the 5 keys on the keypad.
Shock resistance up to 500 G /1ms and IP 67 protection make the DNVC-2 Firefly a robust companion for professional users.
